Bali Places Greater Count of Overseas Travelers
According to the provincial administration of Bali, a rise of 500,000 tourists from abroad is expected in the island in 2015. Anank Agung Gede Yuniarta Putra, head of the regional tourism office reportedly said that they were hoping to see an increase in number of tourists from 500,000 to 4 million in 2015. The predicted number is 3.5 million this year. 

In order to achieve the set goal, Yuniarta went on to say that his office would start promotional campaigns using information technology. An increase in the number of visitors is expected from five nations that have been offered a visa free facility that includes Australia, Russia, Japan, South Korea and China.

The provisional administration is slated to set aside Rp 5 billion for use in promotional campaigns in 2015. Yuniarta was optimistic that the target would be achieved this year based on the performance. The first 10 months of the year has already witnessed 3.2 million visitors coming to Bali. The target of 3.5 million would be overtaken by more number of travelers coming here between the months of November and December. Australians make up for the maximum number of visitors from abroad to Bali.
